Suffolk Horse Breed Open Day

Suffolk Horse Breed Open Day

It was time for the annual Suffolk Horses Open Day on 24th August and Pocket Farming was delighted to attend to showcase their product range and of course run some fun competitions!

The Suffolk horses are one of the oldest breed of heavy horse in Great Britain, dating back to the sixteenth century. The Suffolk open day, held at Gateridge Farm, near Croughton on the Bucks and Oxon border provides the opportunity to see these amazing horses and enjoy a fun day out with a range of trade stands to visit and various demonstrations being held throughout the day.

The Pocket Farming radio control challenge was a popular attraction once again and many had fun taking part in our ‘grain identification’ quiz! Congratulations to Alfie Richardson who was our ‘Top Pocket’ on the Radio Control leader board and to Alan Peck who won our quiz.
