Ford

Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor company, manufactured a range of mass produced tractors under the brand name Fordson from 1917 until 1920.

The Fordson name was used on other models of tractor manufactured in England including the Major, Dexta, Power Major, Super Major and Super Dexta until 1964.  The Fordson brand name was then discontinued and replaced with the Ford badge.  Ford acquired the New Holland company in 1986 and formed ‘Ford New Holland’, the Ford name was later dropped and trades today as New Holland which is owned by CNH.
