German manufacturer of agricultural implements, Amazone, was founded by Heinrich Dreyer in 1883.
The Amazone branding is distinctive with the agricultural machinery carrying a bright green base, combined with orange details and orange logo which features an Amazon woman riding a horse. The name of the brand and subsequent logo was created by Heinrich Dreyer after wanting to name his most successful machine, which was seen as being ‘strong and beautiful’. These two qualities reminded him of the female warriors, the ‘Amazons’ and this is how the name was born.
The Amazone product range includes tillage equipment, sprayers, fertiliser spreaders and seed drills.
